Everest Poker Offers WSOP Main Event Qualifiers
Thursday, May 5th, 2011Today’s article will focus on the World Series of Poker once again, with the center of attention on Everest Poker this time. Similar to a couple other online poker rooms out there, Everest has a Main Event package and then a smaller side event package.
The value of the Main Event package is a whopping $13k. This package pays for your $10,000 Main Event seat, and you also get a couple other things to make your stay a little more comfortable. You should use $2k to pay for your airfare and hotel accommodations, and then you can use the other $1k on food and entertainment.
The Side Event packages are worth $5,000. If you win this package, you will play WSOP Event 56, a $1.5k NL Hold’em tourney. You receive $1.5k for your airfare and hotel stay, and then $1.114k for anything else you might need. If you also want to play in the Main Event, you get additional chances to qualify with this package. The other $886 you’re owed goes towards a Vegas 2011 Direct Entry Token and an entry for a live Main Event satellite.
