These are both important skills that will help you realize your goals and make a profit playing poker. If you are clueless regarding poker hand order, you can’t possibly understand which poker hands to play and you’ll almost always go with far too many Texas Hold Em hands. If you don’t know anything regarding how to put someone on a range, you will experience a tough moment when you’re in a complicated hand and you are required to decide whether to call, raise, or fold.
There are some basic but important skills that someone should learn when they first start playing the game. I’m going to list some that some people might say have nothing to do with poker. I can’t dispute that they don’t help directly improve your poker game itself. But these skills could very well be the most important skills of all because a very skilled poker player will still lose his money if he or she doesn’t use them.
